What is Liminl?
A place where people recommend products, services and businesses to the people who follow them. You discover something, see who recommends it and why, shop or book, and recommend in turn.
When does it open?
It isn't open yet, and we won't promise a date before we're sure of it. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when it opens.
Where will it be available?
India first. We'll add other places later.
Is there an app?
Liminl is a website you can also install on your phone's home screen, so it works like an app. There are no separate app store apps yet.
What is a rec?
A recommendation from one person about one product, service or business: a star rating, their reason, their own photos, and a line saying whether they have any connection to it. Recs from people you follow come first.
How do I buy or book?
The business chooses. You can send an order or booking request on Liminl, which the business confirms and tells you how to pay, or Liminl can take you to the business's own website or WhatsApp. No money moves through Liminl at first.
Can a business pay for good recs?
No. A business can't write, buy, hide or reorder recs about itself, and anything paid is labelled. Our page on how Liminl keeps recs honest has the details.
How does my business get on Liminl?
Business accounts are for people aged 18 and over. Join the waitlist from our page for businesses, and we'll invite businesses in small groups when we open.
